For 30+ years I have been focused on two markets, Legal and Social Media marketing for small businesses. Along the way I started to recognize the increasing confusion from professionals that I met with as they tried to grapple with the complex strategies, they were being told they needed. This was holding small business professionals and entrepreneurs back from taking action and diving into marketing themselves and their businesses online. The need for competent brand marketers who could help this demographic was great and it seemed that what these professionals needed the most was someone they could trust to be honest with them and to execute on a strategy.
 
Since I started my professional marketing journey, I’ve had the opportunity to really expand my skillset. Now my firm handles social media accounts, local advertising, website blogging, marketing compliance and legal issues, AI auditing and so much more. Today I’ve successfully integrated these services into a full offering for my clients with very positive results.

 

In 2023 I began speaking on stages throughout the country both virtual and in-person regarding the complexities of marketing and the law. This has led to even more opportunities to help businesses, especially as AI
has come to the forefront.

Professional History:
Christy Maldonado is a seasoned attorney who has spent almost 20 years practicing at both the City of Boston Law Department and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
She holds a B.S. in Finance and Marketing, as well as a Juris Doctorate degree.  After moving to Florida in 2002, Christy established her own business venture, Social Media Marketing by Christy Maldonado in 2016.

 

Committed to giving back to the community, Christy serves as a Board Member for Women-n-Charge and a member of RGA. She is a former Board Member of Northeast Tampa Women in Business and is a two-time recipient of Women in Business Awards.

Christy is a co-author of the best-selling book on Amazon, The Best Business Minds in Tampa Bay. Christy is also co-author of the book How to Maximize Your Network released in July 2023. Christy was featured on a three-person panel on iHeart radio in June 2023 as an expert in marketing and business. Christy was named Member of the Year – 2023 for RGA Network. She loves traveling and is passionate about gourmet cooking.
